Why so much effort if after everything is done to lose? Why so much work for the salvation of souls if masses alone then they run again after the flames of perdition without even reflect on their actions? Why is "halved" to work for many who probably never appreciate it or never considered when we meet with them? Do not sufficient to make only the minimum if, overall, this world and this society does not want to hear about God's truth and not one bit interested in it? The world is headed into the abyss, and not because someone has pushed the force but by their own volition. In the news we see around the world Christians are persecuted, abortion insist on being legalized euthanasia, and is considered day menu, drugs, sex and violence disorderly appear as an integral part of a large machine that does nothing thing to crush the dignity of human beings, transforming it into a cog in this machine corrupted. The man is nothing but an "animal" - sometimes - rational. In this context, both Christians effort appears to result in anything, and apparently things get worse every day ... Dear Brothers
Too pessimistic? And yet we are not far from this. We all agree on the questions and statements that place before. However, Jesus says: " In the world you have tribulation. But cheer up!: I have overcome the world. "(Jn 16:33). This is our hope and confidence. Here is the hope of many who struggle ceaselessly for a better world, they are capable of heroic sacrifices in pursuit of these ideals.
A better world is not utopia, but the hope of every Christian. But the better world we know we're not going to enjoy this life, but on the other, with God. What we do now is preparation for that eternal life in the presence of the Father in the heavenly homeland. Here in this life, walk in tribulation and hope: an inseparable pair that makes up the Christian life immersed in a world full of pain and sin. God will transform this world end in what he had wanted from the beginning. So in the end all, be restored to the universe, and this world, so far from God, will be subject entirely to Him With eyes fixed on the future hope the disciple of Christ is capable of anything for this country many can go. Not content with reaching himself. No. He wants to bring to many, multitudes, nations as a whole, they all fit in his heart, enlarged by the grace and the same love of God. Not content with little, with a group, movement or a community. Your mind is in the salvation of all and this points to his heart. Your soul does not rest until I see his brothers also joined the same tree, the glorious Cross of Christ, and although everything said at the beginning were true - and is - to do good, because you're not alone, the Lord of the universe runs to his side.
I imagine every Christian ardent and zealous for the salvation of souls as a soldier running through the battlefield, amid bomb blasts and the danger of death, picking up their wounded comrades and carrying them on his shoulders. So the son of God lives aware of their Christian mission: saving wounded: wounded by sin, misery and pain, hurt by despair and temptations, hurt by loneliness. Injured by a world that devours its children without mercy. The disciple's looking for these men and women to save them from death - eternal - and heal his wounds no matter the dangers to their own lives.
I've never seen a true Christian be afraid of what may happen. Why? Because trust in the promises of their Lord, who never lies and is always faithful. So surrender your life as well as Lord.
